Dhaka, March 24 -- A court has granted a five-day remand for retired three-star general Masud Uddin Chowdhury in connection with a case involving alleged embezzlement of Tk 240 billion and human trafficking.

Masud, a former army officer who came under discussion during the army-controlled caretaker government period, is also the managing director of M International Limited.
