Dhaka, April 7 -- The government has appointed former Air Force officer Kaizer Ahmed as managing director and CEO of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
Syed Moin Uddin Ahmed, also an ex-officer, joins as deputy managing director (DMD), while Habib Ullah Monju takes charge as director (finance).
All three assumed their top roles via separate government notifications on Tuesday.
The government had previously cancelled the appointment of Biman Bangladesh Airlines managing director Shafiqur Rahman in February, following his arrest in a child domestic worker abuse case.
Replacing him, Humayra Sultana, an additional secretary at the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, had been serving as the acting MD and CEO.
