Dhaka, June 4 -- Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman will embark on an official visit to Russia from Jun 7 to 9 at the invitation of his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.

Officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the foreign minister will depart for Moscow on Sunday.

Russian foreign ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova detailed the itinerary during a press briefing in St Petersburg on Thursday, the transcript of which was published on the ministry's official website.

The Russian ministry said the talks between the two foreign ministers will take place on Jun 8 and will cover bilateral and international issues.
