Dhaka, Dec. 19 -- The fire at the Udichi Shilpigosthi office has been contained.

The fire broke out at the cultural organisation's office near the National Press Club in Dhaka, around 7:30pm on Friday.

Fire Service spokesperson Md Shahjahan said they received news of a fire at the Udichi office at 7:42pm.

Within four minutes, a Fire Service unit reached the spot. After several minutes of effort, the flames was brought under control at 8:13pm.

Currently, four fire service units are working at the site.
