Father claims repeated calls for help went unanswered as newborn twins died at Ad-din
Dhaka, June 1 -- A father whose newborn twins died in Dhaka's Ad-din Medical College Hospital has alleged that neither doctors nor nurses responded despite repeated calls for help on the night of the incident.
He claimed the babies died because medical staff were not present "at the right time".
Six newborns died in the post-operative ward of Ad-din Medical College Hospital in the early hours of Wednesday, a day before Eid-ul-Azha.
A case has since been filed with Ramna Police over the incident.
Among the six infants who died were the twin sons of Mohammad Hasan Sardar.
