Bangladesh, May 26 -- A couple and their son have been killed during their Eid-ul-Azha trip to their ancestral home when their motorcycle was rammed by a bus in Barishal's Gournadi Upazila.

The accident occurred at 1:30pm on Tuesday near Batabazar of the Dhaka-Barishal Highway, according to Mohsin Hossain, chief of Gournadi Highway Police Station.

Police have yet to confirm the names and identities of the dead.

Mohsin said, "The couple had come to Barishal with their son on a motorcycle."

"A bus named 'Ananda Super' rammed them from behind. The three of them were killed on the spot," the officer added.
