Dhaka, March 12 -- Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain has called for a ban on the speech by President Md Shahabuddin during the first session of the 13th parliament.
The National Citizen Party (NCP) spokesperson made the call at a protest programme on Thursday at Manik Mia Avenue when the 13th parliament met for its first session.
NCP followers hung different placards on the boundary wall of the parliament as part of their programme. The placards contained slogans like "president must be impeached," "July mass killings should be brought to trial" and others.
