Bangladesh, Aug. 27 -- A Dhaka court has allowed police to question two suspects for four days in a case over the recovery of the dismembered body of Suraiya Akter aka Falani, in the capital's Sabujbagh.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mehedi Hasan issued the order on Thursday following the petition by the investigating officer in the case, said Sub-Inspector (SI) Mominul Islam of the Prosecution Police.

The suspects have been identified as Manjurul Islam Rabbi, the husband of Falani's friend Nusrat Jahan Shahida, and his associate Shaon, who is alleged to have taken part in the murder alongside Shahida.

Police arrested them from the Sabujbagh area on Wednesday night.
