Dhaka, May 4 -- Tamanna Nusrat Bubly, a former MP to a women's reserved seat and the wife of former Narsingdi municipal mayor Lokman Hossain, has been shown arrested in a case at Tejgaon Police Station over the detonation of improvised explosives during a flash procession.

Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Awlad Hossain Muhammad Jonaid issued the order on Monday following a petition from the case investigation officer, said Dhaka Metropolitan Public Prosecutor Omar Faruq Faruqi.

Police arrested Bubly from Dhaka's Mirpur in a special operation on the night of Sept 28.

The following day, she was sent to jail in a case under the Anti-Terrorism Act at Tejgaon Police Station. She has been in jail since then.
