Dhaka, Sept. 26 -- East West University has celebrated its 30th founding anniversary with daylong festivities at its Aftabnagar campus in Dhaka.

The celebrations were held on Saturday, with members of the Board of Trustees, administration, faculty, students and alumni taking part, the university said in media statement.

The event began in the morning with the release of colourful balloons, followed by a rally around the campus and surrounding areas.

A reflection session and cultural programme were later held on the university's open premises.
