Dhaka, Oct. 3 -- Elon Musk and Shivon Zilis have ended their relationship, with Zilis saying the split came without warning and left her heartbroken.

Zilis, a Neuralink executive who shares four children with the billionaire, broke her silence on Friday in a candid note posted online, reports NDTV.

She said "going from being in love to letting go in a single week was painful, but accepted that things sometimes unfold that way".

The split surfaced after Musk unfollowed Zilis on X, the platform he owns. She later shared a screenshot of a recent exchange in which both said they loved each other as recently as Sept 24.
