Dhaka, May 5 -- The Deputy Commissioners' (DC) Conference has held a discussion on the roles of the district administrators in "reinforcing manpower" for the military.
"We discussed the instructions of our prime minister on, through professionalism and patriotism, inspiring us to enhance troop strength to the Army, and the role of DCs in that regard," said AKM Shamsul Islam, the defence advisor to the prime minister, after defence-related discussion on the third day of the conference at Dhaka's Osmani Memorial Auditorium on Tuesday.
