Dhaka, May 4 -- A US trade delegation led by Assistant US Trade Representative for South and Central Asia Brendan Lynch is scheduled to visit Dhaka on a three-day visit to discuss the implementation of the bilateral Reciprocal Trade Agreement (RTA).
The visit, scheduled from May 5-7, comes amid heightening domestic debate over the terms of the pact and a recent legal challenge filed in the High Court over its constitutional validity.
In a statement issued on Monday, US Embassy Spokesperson Poornima Rai said the delegation aims to strengthen the trade and investment relationship between the two nations.
