Dhaka, Feb. 17 -- The Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) has introduced a fresh Metro Rail timetable for the holy month of Ramadan.

According to a notice on Tuesday, the updated timetable will remain in effect from the first day of Ramadan until the day before Eid-ul-Fitr, adjusting train timings in line with changing office hours.

Under the new schedule, the first train from Uttara North to Motijheel will depart at 6:30am, with the last at 9:30pm. On the other end of the route, the first train will leave Motijheel at 7:15am, and the last at 10:10pm.

During peak hours, trains will run every 8 to 10 minutes, and every 10 to 15 minutes during off-peak periods
