Detectives say progress made in tracking killers of 'top criminal' Titon
Dhaka, May 12 -- The killers of "top criminal" Khandaker Naim Ahmed Titon, shot dead near Dhaka's New Market, have been brought "within a framework", said Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police Additional Commissioner Md Shafiqul Islam.
On Tuesday, Shafiqul said no arrests have yet been made.
Speaking at a press briefing, he said investigators were advancing steadily but could not disclose operational details.
"We are working on it," he said when asked about progress in the murder probe.
Titon was gunned down on the night of Apr 28 by two masked men riding a motorcycle. Police later identified him as a listed "top criminal".
