Dhaka, Sept. 19 -- A crude bomb has exploded at Kamalapur Railway Station, hours after a string of arson attacks and blasts reported across multiple locations in Dhaka.

The blast occurred around 10:30pm on Saturday, said Railway Dhaka District Police Superintendent Nikuling Chakma.

"A cocktail exploded on platform two of Kamalapur Railway Station. No casualties have been reported," he said.

A video of the incident showed two crude bombs exploding in quick succession beside a train standing at the platform.

The officer said efforts were under way to identify the culprits by reviewing CCTV footage.

"We are trying to find out who did this, we are working on it."
