Dhaka, April 9 -- In the newly formed ad-hoc committee led by Tamim Iqbal, no one has been assigned to lead the Cricket Operations Committee -- historically one of the most vital panels within the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).

The Media and Communications department has also been left without a head for the time being.

The BCB president noted that these appointments would be made in the near future.

For now, Tamim himself will oversee the Working Committee and the Facilities Management department.

Following his appointment by the National Sports Council, the committee held its inaugural meeting on Tuesday.

The second board meeting on Wednesday, however, saw the official finalisation of several committee chairs.
