Bangladesh, Aug. 7 -- A husband and wife have been killed in a crash involving a car and motorcycle on the same road in the Bogura Sadar Upazila where seven day labourers lost their lives only hours ago.

The couple's 8-year-old grandson has also been injured in the accident.

The accident occurred near the Erulia Airport on the Bogra-Naogaon regional road in the Upazila around 4:30pm on Friday, said Sub-Inspector (SI) Mostafizur Rahman of Bogra Sadar Police Station.

The dead have been identified as businessman Babul Hasan, 55, and his wife Jasmine Bibi, 47, from Atapara of Bogura city. The injured, Zulkar Nain, is the son of their eldest son Rezaul Karim Reza.
