Bangladesh, Aug. 20 -- Applications for admission to Class XI at colleges and madrasas could begin online on Sept 2 under a proposed schedule submitted to the education ministry.

The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has proposed accepting first-phase applications from Sept 2-10, its Chairman Syed Aktaruzzaman told bdnews24.com on Thursday.

Candidates whose Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent results change after re-scrutiny would get a second chance to apply on Sept 12-13.

Selected students would complete admission on Sept 20-22, with classes proposed to begin on Sept 23.

The committee had initially proposed starting applications on Sept 15 and classes on Nov 12.
