Dhaka, June 17 -- A Dhaka court has given the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) 11 more days to submit a further investigation report into the murder of Inqilab Moncho convenor Sharif Osman bin Hadi.

The report is now due by Jun 28.

Wednesday had been set as the deadline for the report, but the case's investigating officer, CID Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Abdul Kadir Bhuiyan, failed to submit it.

Dhaka's Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Md Sefatullah then fixed the new date, prosecution police Sub-Inspector (SI) Md Rukunuzzaman said.
