Dhaka, March 29 -- The Chuadanga district administration has decided to introduce Fuel Cards for vehicles, effective from Apr 1.
The decision came at a meeting on the storage, transport, and distribution of fuel held at the deputy commissioner's office on Sunday.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Kamal Hossain announced that the distribution of these cards will begin on Monday and Tuesday from his office.
To obtain a card, vehicle owners must submit copies of the vehicle's registration, the driver's licence, and their national ID card.
"From Apr 1, fuel will only be supplied to vehicles carrying Fuel Cards, and the quantity provided will be based on necessity," Kamal said.
