Dhaka, Sept. 20 -- Communist Party of China International Department chief Liu Haixing is set to visit Dhaka by the end of this year, according to outgoing Chinese Ambassador Yao Wen.

Yao shared the plan during a farewell call on State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday.

The Chinese envoy said Liu, minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (IDCPC), is eager to undertake a visit to Bangladesh at the end of the year.
