Dhaka, May 13 -- China has reiterated its position on key issues with the United States ahead of US President Donald Trump's two-day visit to Beijing.

In a post on X, the Chinese Embassy in the US said there were "four red lines" in China-US relations that "must not be challenged".

The issues listed as non-negotiable were Taiwan, democracy and human rights, political systems, and China's development rights, reports NDTV.

The embassy also said China and the US should work towards a "strategic, constructive and stable" relationship based on "mutual respect, peaceful coexistence and win-win cooperation".
