Dhaka, May 3 -- A child has died after being tossed off his father's motorcycle in Debidwar Upazila of Cumilla.

The accident occurred near Baniapara Azgar Ali Girls High School in Debidwar Municipality on the Cumilla-Sylhet highway around 10am on Sunday, said Debidwar Police Station chief Mohammad Moniruzzaman.

The deceased, eight-year-old Md Khalid Hossain, was the son of former police officer Moazzem Hossain Swapan of Gopalnagar village in Rasulpur Union of the same Upazila.
