Bangladesh, Sept. 14 -- A 9-month-old infant has allegedly died at Dhaka's Padma General Hospital due to the absence and negligence of a doctor.

Abdullah Al Ayan died around 9:30pm on Sunday. Afterwards, his family took to Facebook Live with allegations of negligence.

The video went viral on social media.

At 10:30am on Monday, two officials, including Additional Director General (Administration) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Zahid Raihan, visited the hospital.

A meeting is under way between the hospital authorities and DGHS representatives.
