Dhaka, April 5 -- Formal charges have been filed against 22 individuals at the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) regarding crimes against humanity over the killing of six people, including Chhatra Dal leader Wasim, in Chattogram during the July Uprising.
The tribunal's registrar office said that on Sunday, Prosecutor Faruk Ahmmad submitted the complaint to the registrar of the ICT. He was accompanied by Prosecutor Zahirul Amin and investigating officer Aminur Rashid.
Among the accused are former ministers Hasan Mahmud, Mohibul Hassan Chowdhoury Nowfel, and ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury, along with 22 others.
