Dhaka, May 10 -- A case has been filed over the recovery of five members of the same family murdered in Gazipur's Kapasia Upazil.

Gazipur Additional Superintendent of Police (Kaliganj Circle) Md Asaduzzaman confirmed that the case was filed at Kapasia Police Station on Saturday night.

He said, "The case was filed by Shahadat Molla, the father of the deceased Sharmin Akter. He named son-in-law (Sharmin 's husband), fugitive Forkan, and four to five unidentified people in the case."

Earlier on Saturday morning, police recovered the bodies of five people with their throats slit from Rautkona village in Kapasia.
