Dhaka, Sept. 22 -- As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly integrated into animal behaviour research, scientists are raising concerns about how the technology is being used and hyped, according to The Guardian.

Stephanie King, who co-leads Shark Bay Dolphin Research at the University of Bristol, said AI can transform research when used responsibly, but bristled at the idea that it might someday let humans "speak dolphin".

"I think we're doing the animals a disservice by focusing on that question," she told The Guardian, adding that the framing of AI as a tool to "crack" or "decode" animal language is misleading and risks pushing scientists towards premature or sensationalised claims.
