Dhaka, March 21 -- Devotees have prayed for Iran's victory in its war against the US and Israel during the Eid prayer congregation at the old trade fair grounds in Dhaka's Agargaon.

The congregation was held at 8am on Saturday and was centrally organised by the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC).

In addition to prayers for the wellbeing of everyone's families, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, and the people of Bangladesh, the imam also prayed for Iran to be given the strength to overcome the attack, to achieve victory in the conflict, and for the plans of non-Muslims to be foiled.
