Bangladesh, July 5 -- The government has issued a circular prohibiting the use of the prime minister's photograph on banners, festoons, and billboards prepared for official government events.

The information was shared on Sunday morning by the Prime Minister's Deputy Press Secretary Mostafa Zulfiquar Hasan.

He said, "While travelling from his residence in Gulshan to the Secretariat this morning, the honourable Prime Minister Mr Tarique Rahman noticed that his photograph was being displayed on banners and festoons prepared for a programme organised by a ministry."
