Dhaka, March 7 -- BRAC Bank has appointed ASM Wasi Noman as its additional managing director and chief information officer (CIO).

In the newly created role, Noman will lead the bank's technology strategy and digital innovation initiatives as part of efforts to accelerate its digital transformation, the bank said in a statement.

As a member of the bank's management committee, he will oversee the technology and digital banking functions, aligning digital initiatives with BRAC Bank's long-term strategy.

Noman has more than 25 years of experience across banking, telecommunications, IT services, automation and business process outsourcing.
