Bangladesh, Aug. 12 -- Several hours after improvised explosives and bomb-making materials were recovered from Dhaka's Savar, similar materials have been recovered in Bongaon Union.

The bomb-making materials were recovered from inside a pressure cooker found on a field in front of Ghora Mosque in the Goperbari area, according to Sub-Inspector Md Imran of the Bhabanipur Police Camp.

He said, "On Tuesday night, locals found a drum. Inside the drum were some clothes, a Quran and a pressure cooker wrapped in a plastic bag. The drum remained there overnight.

"On Wednesday morning, locals grew suspicious when they saw electric wire wrapped in tape on the brim of the pressure cooker. As soon as the news spread, it sparked panic in the area a...
