Dhaka, May 16 -- Naval Police have recovered a decomposed body from the Padma River in Munshiganj's Louhajang Upazila, which investigators suspect may be that of Forkan Molla, the prime suspect in the Kapasia quintuple murder case.

Gazipur district police says a definitive identification will only be possible following DNA testing.

Additional Superintendent of Police Md Asaduzzaman of Gazipur's Kapasia and Kaliganj Circle disclosed the information on Saturday evening.

The development follows the discovery of five throat-slit bodies by police in Kapasia's Rautkona village on May 9.
