BNP shoulders duty to rescue Bangladesh from 'ruins', says Mirza Fakhrul
Bangladesh, Aug. 8 -- BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has accused a faction of "scheming to sow instability" in Bangladesh.
He said the Awami League left the nation in ruins, and the burden of rescue then fell on the BNP's shoulders.
Now, as the BNP works to push the country forward, a faction is stirring up instability instead, said the local government minister.
"I think this is wrong; they're doing this to drag the country back into instability. We must all stay alert and vigilant."
