Dhaka, March 9 -- A meeting for lawmakers from the BNP, the ruling party in the 13th National Parliament, will be held on Wednesday.

A press statement from the National Parliament Secretariat said that the meeting will be held at 11am in the meeting room for the ruling party in the Parliament Building. The meeting will be presided over by the leader of the parliament.

Chief Whip Nurul Islam Moni has requested all ruling party MPs to attend the meeting.

The first session of the 13th National Parliament will be on Mar 12.

On Feb 17, the first meeting of the BNP parliamentary party unanimously elected party chairman Tarique Rahman as the head of the 13th parliament.

The elections for the 13th parliament were held on Feb 12.
