Dhaka, March 3 -- National flag carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines has suspended flight operations to six key Middle East destinations "until further notice", citing the ongoing regional conflict.

The affected routes include Dammam, Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Kuwait.

The airline announced the decision on Tuesday afternoon, advising passengers to contact Biman sales centres or their respective travel agents.

In a statement, the carrier provided two contact numbers for passenger assistance: 13636 and +8809610913636 (international).

Biman added that it is closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates in due course.
