Dhaka, Sept. 30 -- The Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU), has sought the bank account information of content creator Salman Muqtadir.

On Wednesday, the BFIU gave directives to all commercial banks to submit information on his bank accounts and transactions to the agency within the day.

On the same day, Bangladesh Bank announced its monetary policy for the next three months (October-December) at the central bank's Jahangir Alam Auditorium.

The monetary policy is usually announced by the central bank governor. However, Governor Mostaqur Rahman was not present this time. Deputy Governor Habibur Rahman explained that the governor was busy with official duties.
