Dhaka, April 10 -- US Senator Bernie Sanders has announced that he will introduce a resolution next week aimed at stopping US military aid to Israel, reports Middle East Monitor.

He made the announcement on Wednesday.

The US Senator criticised Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump for a "disastrous war" with Iran.

"No great surprise. Netanyahu talked Trump into the disastrous war in Iran. We cannot allow Israel to continue shaping US military and foreign policy.

"Next week I will be offering a resolution to stop US military aid to Israel," Sanders wrote on X.
