Beatmosphere to represent Bangladesh at Eurovision Asia
Dhaka, Oct. 1 -- Beatmosphere has been selected to represent Bangladesh at the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia, after winning the country's national selection with their performance of "Tumi Ele".
Eurovision reported that 10 performers competed in the first National Selection Show for Bangladesh on Wednesday, with the winner decided through a combination of jury, public and international votes.
A professional jury accounted for 40 percent of the result, while the Bangladeshi audience contributed another 40 percent. The remaining 20 percent came from a Rest of the World vote.
Beatmosphere emerged at the top of the final standings, followed by Pulak Adhikary in second place and Vintage Theory in third.
