Dhaka, May 11 -- The Appellate Division has upheld the bail granted by the High Court to former MP Barrister Syed Sayedul Haque Suman in a case over the attempt to murder a Jubo Dal leader in Mirpur during the July Uprising.
A four-judge appellate bench led by Justice Md Ashfaqul Islam gave the order on Monday.
However, Suman's lawyer said he will not be released right away as there are more cases pending against him.
Lawyer Md Liton Ahmed represented Suman at the bail hearing.
