Dhaka, Feb. 28 -- The Bangladesh embassy in Qatar has issued an urgent security advisory for its expatriates, instructing them to stay away from military installations and remain indoors following a major military escalation involving Iran, Israel, and the United States.

The notice, issued Saturday, comes in the wake of joint US-Israeli strikes on Iran earlier in the day.

In retaliation, Iran reportedly targeted US military bases across the region, including sites in Qatar, Bahrain and Israel.

Citing safety concerns, the embassy urged all Bangladeshi nationals to stay at home or move to secure locations until the immediate danger subsides.
