Dhaka, May 5 -- Zahid Ahamed Limon, the Bangladeshi student killed while pursuing higher studies in the US state of Florida, has been laid to rest beside grandparents in Jamalpur's Madarganj Upazila.

His younger brother Zubayer Ahamed said he was buried next to his paternal grandparents in the family graveyard in Karaichara Union around 8pm on Monday.

Before that, Limon's funeral prayers were offered at a local primary school where hundreds, including local MP and Upazila administrator, gathered.
