Dhaka, May 16 -- The mortal remains of actress and content creator Kaarina Kaisar have been scheduled to arrive in Dhaka from India's Chennai.

Her father, former national football team captain Kaisar Hamid, said on Saturday that the body will reach the capital on Sunday afternoon and will be taken to their residence in Banani DOHS.

"The body will then be taken to Gazaria in Munshiganj on Monday, where she will be buried at her maternal grandfather's home," he told Glitz (glitz.bdnews24.com).

Kaarina had been fighting liver complications for over a week at a Dhaka hospital before her condition took a turn for the worse and she was put on life support.
