Dhaka, April 26 -- The Bangladeshi government has called for a swift investigation into the killing of two Bangladeshi students in Florida and demanded that those responsible be brought to justice.

Speaking to reporters at the foreign ministry on Sunday, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaed Islam said: "We want the United States to conduct a proper and speedy investigation and ensure those behind this brutal incident are identified and brought to justice."

Zamil Ahmed Limon and Nahida Sultana Bristy, students of the University of South Florida, had been missing since Apr 16.
