Bangladesh, July 25 -- Bangladesh has reported six more deaths with measles symptoms over the past 24 hours.

The total number of fatalities linked to confirmed measles infections and suspected cases has risen to 816 since Mar 15.

Among the dead, 721 were among people who died with measles symptoms, while laboratory testing confirmed measles infection in 95 of the fatalities.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said on Saturday that Dhaka Division has recorded the highest number of deaths with measles symptoms at 316.

Sylhet Division has reported the second-highest toll with 106 deaths, followed by Rajshahi with 90, Mymensingh with 67, Chattogram with 57, Barishal with 43, Khulna with 32, and Rangpur with 10.
