Dhaka, May 10 -- Another 11 children have died in Bangladesh over the past 24 hours with measles and related symptoms, including four confirmed cases, according to health authorities.

During the period, 282 new measles cases were detected across the country, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said in the daily bulletin on Sunday.

Since Mar 15, a total of 65 people have died from confirmed measles infections, while another 344 have died showing suspected measles symptoms, according to health directorate.

The highest number of suspected measles-related deaths -- 138 -- has been recorded in Dhaka Division, followed by 78 in Rajshahi.
