Dhaka, March 10 -- The Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment has set up a control room to assist expats amid the ongoing war in the Middle East.

The facility will remain open from 8am to 8pm every day from Mar 10 to Mar 16, according to a government statement issued on Tuesday.

The statement said officers and employees would operate the control room in three shifts to ensure uninterrupted service.

The centre has been established at the Expatriates' Welfare Building in Dhaka's Eskaton.
