Dhaka, Feb. 28 -- The government has announced emergency overnight accommodation for passengers whose flights from Bangladesh were cancelled due to the escalating conflict in the Middle East.
The Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment issued a statement on Saturday night, requesting affected travellers to contact the expatriate welfare desks or lounges at the airport for assistance.
"Due to the situation in the Middle East, some flights have been cancelled, causing unexpected inconvenience to honoured passengers. Accommodation will be provided to those affected," the ministry said.
