Dhaka, June 26 -- The relationship between Bangladesh and China has transcended traditional frameworks to morph into a comprehensive, multidimensional strategic partnership, the spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) has said.

Speaking at a press conference at Beijing's Diaoyutai State Guesthouse at 2pm local time on Friday, Mahdi Amin said Prime Minister Tarique Rahman's visit had laid the foundation for a "long-term, strategic partnership" that had transformed bilateral ties into a "multi-dimensional relationship".
