Bangladesh chase 197 as Renshaw, David fire Australia
Dhaka, June 19 -- Bangladesh have a mountain to climb in the second T20 International after Matt Renshaw and Tim David tore their bowling apart to power Australia to 196 for five.
The hosts now need a record chase to stay alive in the three-match series.
Renshaw and David did the bulk of the damage in Chattogram on Friday, putting on 97 runs off just 50 balls in a brutal fifth-wicket stand that knocked the stuffing out of Bangladesh's bowlers.
Renshaw was the architect, though Tigers handed him two lifelines off Nahid Rana's bowling.
The right-hander made them pay in full, motoring to fifty off just 29 balls before finishing unbeaten on 89 off 52 with five sixes and four fours.
